The formation and the development of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University – as the scientific center in the region is realized under the condition of the supply of high qualified scientific and pedagogical staff with the scientific degrees. The training of the scientists not only for the university but for others pedagogical educational establishments is carried out with the help of the Department of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies.
The department is responsible for the organization of the scheduled training of the scientific and pedagogical staff members and scientific staff, the formation of the contingent of researchers for the degree, the conducting of the exams of candidate minimum in different specialities, it provides the registration and control under the graduate’s work, doctoral’s work and researcher’s work. The department cooperates with other universities, concluding treaties, working with other organizations in Ukraine, as to the training of pedagogical and scientific personnel.
